18th European Biomass Conference and Exhibition
3 - 7 May 2010 | Lyon, France
The Conference will be chaired by Prof. Josef Spitzer, Joanneum Research, Austria, and IEA Bioenergy Executive Committee Chairman. The Technical Programme Coordination will be supported by the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission - JRC.

Bioenergy International Expo & Conference

With all the media speculation surrounding biofuels and their impact on food security, food prices and emissions reductions, the industry is now focusing more than over on second generation biofuels.
Research into new sustainable sources of biomass and efficient conversion technologies is moving at a rapid pace, driven largely by government targets. For the same reason countries all over the globe are looking at using biomass as a source of renewable power generation.
These issues and more will be addressed in the new bioenergy stream at Bioenergy International expo & conference. 6th International Conference on Renewable Resources & Biorefineries

The 6th edition of the International Conference on Renewable Resources & Biorefineries will be held in Düsseldorf, Germany from Monday June 7 through Wednesday June 9, 2010. The three day international conference will consist of plenary lectures, oral presentations and a poster session and will take place in the conference center ‘Rheinterrasse’.
This conference aims at bringing together academic researchers, industrial experts, policymakers and venture capital providers to discuss the challenges emerging from the transition towards a biobased economy and to present new developments in this area.
The conference will provide a forum for leading political, corporate, academic and financial people to discuss recent developments and set up collaborations. The conference further aims at providing an overview of the scientific, technical, economical, environmental and social issues of renewable resources and biorefineries.
