The firm will also initiate coverage in the California carbon market created by AB32 and the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (RGGI), the nation's first mandatory market to cut greenhouse gas emissions. Titan will work closely with developers of renewable energy and methane capture and destruction projects to secure medium and long-term power purchase and highly structured offtake agreements. Titan Energy Markets' business will serve utilities, wholesale and retail energy suppliers, financial institutions, independent power producers and project developers focusing on renewable and clean energy technologies.

Kolchins spent the last seven years building and managing an award winning REC brokerage desk, during which time he lead a team that secured over 1,000 MW of bundled green energy power purchase agreements across wind, landfill gas, solar, biomass and geothermal renewable technologies. A market leader and fifteen-year veteran of the energy industry, Kolchins brokered many of the first REC transactions as well as some of the biggest and most complex, creative and largest deals in the Eastern compliance REC markets.
