International Conference on Greenhouse Gas Technologies (GHGT)
5 - 9 October, 2014 | Austin, Texas, USA

The GHGT conference series has established itself as the principal international conference on greenhouse gas mitigation technologies especially on CCS (CO2 Capture and Storage).

The IEA Greenhouse Gas R&D Programme (IEAGHG) is the guardian of the conference series. The GHGT conferences are held every two years in IEAGHG's member countries and have become a focal point for international research on CO2 capture and storage. The conference series rotates between North America, Europe and Asia.

Each conference creates a forum for technical discussions related to the field of greenhouse gas control technology. This field can be defined, broadly, as technologies that allow us to continue using our large fossil energy reserves while reducing their associated greenhouse gas emissions.

This will be the first visit to Austin, TX, United States by the GHGT conference series. With the staggering growth that the conference has seen since 2002, it is anticipated that over 1,600 delegates will enjoy the Austin southern hospitality. Our hosts for GHGT-12 are the University of Texas at Austin and IEAGHG.
